#MYSERVICESTORY: Lilian Lebednick

Our #MYSERVICESTORY for the week comes from Lilian Lebednick, a junior supply Chain Management major and Psychology and PJHR minor from Farmington Hills, MI!

At which service sites / community partners have you served or been a student liaison?

I have served at Fatima Family Center, Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry Men's Shelter, St. Martin de Porres High School.

"At Saturday Tutoring, I worked with an 8th grader on his math workbook and weekly essay. We slowly worked our way through linear equations and writing about his love of sports (the latter being easier to follow.) We talked for a while about what he wanted to do college and careerwise. He wants to go to a big sports school and work as a basketball player's agent. He truly cares about school and its refreshing to see a student who is passionate to learn."

Each week we feature stories of students who have made service a cornerstone of their JCU experience.

Complete the form to show us how you #ServeCLE! We’ll share your story on social media and in our weekly e-newsletter. If you’re a CSSA student liaison, you’ll earn points for your mentor group! Submit your service story at https://jcu.edu/myservicestory
