The All-New JCU Food Buggy

CSSA  picked up the anticipated JCU food buggy on July 15, 2020!

The truck will operate under two functions: a student-run business by day and a social enterprise by night. During the day the truck will serve the full-pay business lunch market and on select evenings and weekends, the profits from the daytime business will be used to provide free, hot meals to clients who are homeless.

JCU Students will explore the social, political and economic dimensions of running a food truck business in Cleveland while applying course knowledge and gaining real-world experience. CSSA has partnered with the Boler School for Leadership and Innovation and Muldoon Center for  Entrepreneurship to help provide the vision, community relationships, and logistical support to help the project run as part of the JCU in the City initiative. This project will also be a collaborative venture with other community partners like Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry and JCU. Watch for exciting details and roll-out plans as the semester gets underway!
